![]() I'm leaning more towards the Duke for this one. Video Game Rep: Too many to count, but if I were to pick just a few, I'd pick Duke Nukem, Manny Calavera, Eddie Riggs, Dallas or V. And having Ash come back as a cameo would be cool as well, but this one seems less likely. Raoul makes the most sense here, but Johnny Utah would be my personal choice (because Keanu). Bringing Brock Samson back as a cameo would be cool too.įilm Rep: Sticking to cult films, I'd pick Johnny Utah, Jack Burton, Connor Macleod or Raoul Duke. I'd also suggest a member of Vox Machina, but I couldn't choose which one. TV Show rep: Bender, Sterling Archer, Black Dynamite, Nathan Explosion or Reagan Ridley. As for cameos, Heavy is an obvious one, but I'd also pick Miss Pauling, Saxton Hale, Wheatley and Bill as possible cameos. Leaning more towards Nick, because he could bring some good banter, and being a con-man, he'd make for a pretty tough opponent. ![]() Also, while the current Telltale has no control over Sam & Max anymore, it would be nice to get them as a cameo. Fiona would be the more obvious choice, but I'm leaning more towards Bigby personally. Telltale rep: Top 3 would be Bigby Wolf, Nelson Tethers and (despite the current Telltale having nothing to do with TFTBL anymore) Fiona. If we make it a Telltale rep, I'd go with Bluebeard. I don't know how possible that would be now, but it would definitely be cool to see another Poker Night game.Īs far as who I think should be in a hypothetical third game, I have a few ideas for different kinds of reps and cameos.ĭealer: If we make this a Valve rep, I'd say either bring GLaDOS back, or replace her with The Administrator. Nick is basically a lab rat anyways so that has great interactions. I am sure how you can see her calling Archer insults and him thinking he had something for it. Plus, having another calculating robot (Valentine) in the crowd would make for another great 1:1, particularly if Claptrap makes a guest appearance. Archer can fill both the a sometimes sly and sometimes oddly aggressive (Brock), Fiona has the sarcastic thing going (Claptrap), Nick (L4D) has the sly and off thing going (Ash), and you can probably have Valentine playing the straight, less bluffy (Sam).ĭealer: Not sure, but I would actually love to see a return from GLaDOS as that was the perfect hoot and there is certainly more that can be pulled from that well. I'd personally vote Nick as the best for chatter (also most likely to be at this table, plus there are probably some great jokes for having two Nicks). The actor for Nick is known for good chatter (they had to filter him believe it or not), Elise can fill the stupid roll, and bill can round out and oddly gruff. Pulling from the Valve chest doesn't hurt, and I think you have some great choices in Left 4 Dead from Bill, Elise, and Nick. He has got to have some good stories and chatter, with a very distinct personality and look. But most likely, I'd think you want a somewhat straight lace, less bluffy, cool and calculating but personable, so maybe Nick Valentine from Fallout 4. ![]() I'd look to cult classics, maybe something like Jay and Silent Bob (Bob can play, then have Jay do talking a la Sam/Max have done in the series). This leaves out any DC Universe (though Joker would be an interesting choice). Remember, it needs to be someone that isn't too expensive/difficult to license and voice act. ![]() This could also be the "outside game" seat (something like the Heavy). Going for the movies seat is really a toss up (Ash was the weak seat by far). I know there is a lot of Futurama love, but from a story and chatter perspective, Archer has it hands down. This single inclusion would make the game profitable). (Seriously, replace the Brock - Venture Brothers, and you can see where he has great dialog, tells, and performance. Next from the TV and Cartoons, Sterling Archer would be, how you say. Pulling someone from Tales of the Borderlands (Fiona) would satisfy that, probably the Claptrap seat. You need something to replace the Borderlands seat and/or the Sam/Max seat. Seeing as how well 2 was done, lets just follow through that formula. ![]()
